BRL EUROPEAN CUP: ALL SET FOR THE MBE JEREZ ROUND (7–9 November)

Season finale in Jerez with ESBK for BRL Europe: standout collaboration with Verona’s MBE, titles still up for grabs, high-profile wild cards on the grid, a motorcycle rally and a vuelta de honor, and free entry — unmissable!

The countdown has begun for the grand finale of the Bagger Racing League European Cup, scheduled for 7–9 November at the Jerez circuit, alongside the Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK). The Jerez round, titled after Verona’s MBE Motor Bike Expo, will close the first season of the maxi-bagger series and bring plenty of novelties on and off the track.

Close title fight and new arrivals

On track the battle will be fierce, with the championship titles still to be decided. Currently leading the standings is Manuel Grandi (Indian), followed by Ducati rider Andrea Tomio, already assured of second place but determined to aim for the maximum result. The fight for third will pit rookie Marco Attanasio against two heavyweights: Kevin Manfredi, on the Harley-Davidson of the Lords Performance team, and Ruben Xaus, also starting on a Ducati. Among the rookies, Attanasio leads, but Alessandro Mattu and Germany’s Andreas Schäfer will be tough opponents.

Adding further prestige to the grid — and making the on-track duels even more electrifying — will be several new entries. Four-time Endurance World Champion and former WSBK and MotoGP rider David Checa will start on an Indian. From the world of regularity racing, Japan’s Takeshi Ishizuka, newly crowned EWC vice world champion, will switch to Harley-Davidson. Expanding the Italian contingent, Nazzareno Lumina will arrive in Jerez fresh from third place in the Dunlop Cup 600 and, in Spain as well, will ride a Ducati as Ruben Xaus’s teammate.

Motorcycle rally and “Vuelta de Honor”

Not just racing. On Saturday, 8 November, a motorcycle rally will allow hundreds of custom riders to attend BRL Europe Race 1 and get up close to the bikes and riders of the championship. Once the day’s race program is over, a vuelta de honor — a parade lap — will be held, giving all fans who came by motorcycle the chance to take to the iconic Ángel Nieto track for one lap. After the parade, everyone will head to downtown Jerez for the end-of-season bike meet-up (full details to follow in the coming days on the championship website).

MBE – Bagger Racing League

This partnership is only the first step in a collaboration that will intensify throughout 2026, when the European league dedicated to this motorcycle category will roll out a calendar across Europe, stopping at some of the continent’s most important circuits. There is great curiosity around the series: a bridge between the racing and custom worlds — seemingly far apart, though not in substance. A common denominator with MBE, the only show capable of uniting both worlds and helping each appreciate the best of the other. Following the championship’s presence — launched last year precisely during MBE — the partnership is deepening and will also bring the end-of-season trophy presentation to the Verona event. The collaboration will span promotional and commercial areas, adding value for both parties.

Bruno Sandrini – Championship Director

“This collaboration came about almost naturally, between two entities that are uniquely cross-disciplinary in the motorcycling world. MBE has great history and experience in both custom and racing and is, for us, the ideal partner to support the championship’s growth. It is a pleasure to have started working with Paola Somma, Federico Agnoletto and the entire MBE staff.”
