David Checa in BRL Europe

DAVID CHECA TO START THE FINAL ROUND OF THE BAGGER RACING LEAGUE EUROPEAN CUP ON INDIAN

The Bagger Racing League European Cup continues its rapid growth, attracting more and more interest from motorcycle fans across both the custom and racing worlds. Two very different universes that, thanks to this race category, have found their meeting point. It’s also a class riders enjoy: once they climb aboard these machines, they’re surprised by their unexpected agility and performance.

Former Endurance World Champion David Checa will be on the grid for the final round of the 2025 season, taking place 7–9 November in Jerez. It’s a double-header (races on Saturday and Sunday) in which David will represent Indian—a bike he already sampled early in the year during the championship shakedown held in April at the Castelloli circuit.

Checa brings vast experience and major results on the international stage. He has raced virtually every world category—starting in 250, then moving through MotoGP, Supersport and Superbike—before clinching the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) title.

Now it’s time for a new adventure. The experienced Iberian rider approaches it with the goal of enjoying himself and crossing lines again with some former rivals, such as Ruben Xaus.

It’s reasonable to expect Checa to be in the fight at the sharp end from his very first outing—right where fellow Indian standard-bearer, Italian Manuel Grandi, has been a regular this season as he charges toward the first continental crown.

David Checa: “I really enjoyed riding the Indian Bagger at Castelloli. Unfortunately, we couldn’t join earlier because we were competing in the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) until the last race. We decided to wait and enter the final round of the Bagger Racing League European Cup so we’d be fully ready to perform at our best. I can’t wait to get back on it… I’ve always been called ‘Cherokee’—there’s nothing more fitting than riding an Indian.”

See you in Jerez de la Frontera, 7–9 November.
