24h of Le Mans, Superbike, Supersport, Moto E, test rider and now… Bagger Racing League. Who else could we be talking about, if not the moustached Kevin Manfredi???
He is certainly the most versatile rider in Europe, who has enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to compete in the first European edition of this stars-and-stripes championship, which will allow him to race on American big bikes.
He will be on the starting grid for the Cremona round riding a Harley Davidson, with which he will try to write his name as the first ever winner in the history of this championship.
The Italian rider is already competing this year on Honda Superstock bikes, with which he recently achieved second place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, after a historic and grueling run on foot to bring the damaged bike back to the pits. A feat that allowed the team to restart and hold on to the podium.
Kevin is also a Honda standard-bearer in the Italian SBK Championship, and thus lines up as one of the most accredited riders to fight for victory in the Cremona double race.
“It’s pure madness – explains Kevin – when I saw that this series was kicking off, I said… I have to be there. And so it was. I couldn’t let the chance slip away to experience this version of motorcycle racing, perhaps the strangest one for us Europeans. I’m convinced that this championship will bring to the track riders who have never entered a circuit before these races; it will be great to see the racing world mixing with the custom one. What do I expect?? Honestly, I don’t know, but I’m sure I won’t miss out on the fun.”
