IVAN MUÑOZ GRANERO READY FOR HIS BAGGER DEBUT AT JEREZ WITH SPANOVER RACING TEAM

The 18-year-old Spanish rider joins the BRL European Cup for the season finale at Circuito de Jerez Ángel Nieto, ready to take on a completely new challenge aboard a racing Harley-Davidson Road Glide.

The Bagger Racing League European Cup welcomes another exciting name to the grid for the final round of the 2026 season. Ivan Muñoz Granero, an 18-year-old Spanish rider with an impressive racing background, will make his debut in the championship at Circuito de Jerez Ángel Nieto, October 30 – November 1, representing the Spanover Bagger Racing Team.

Despite his young age, Muñoz Granero already has considerable racing experience. Having started competing at just ten years old, he has built a successful career that includes the Spanish Moto5 Championship, the Kawasaki Ninja Championship, and several Valencian Community Championship titles.

Now, the young Spaniard is preparing to face one of the most unusual and exciting challenges of his racing career: competing aboard a high-performance Harley-Davidson Road Glide in the BRL European Cup.

A NEW CHALLENGE, THE SAME RACING AMBITION

For Muñoz Granero, joining the Bagger Racing League European Cup represents much more than simply another race weekend.

“For me, this is an incredible opportunity and a real honour to be part of such a special category as the Bagger Racing League European Cup, especially alongside a team that has put its trust in me.”

The Spanish rider is approaching the event with determination and a clear competitive mindset.

“I’m coming into this with huge motivation, eager to learn, compete at the highest level, fight for the top positions, and put on a great show on track. It’s a completely new challenge for me, and I want to make the most of it, prove my potential, and represent my country in the best possible way.”

FROM LIGHTWEIGHT RACING MACHINES TO A HARLEY-DAVIDSON BAGGER

The transition to bagger racing will require a significant adjustment in riding technique.

The Spanover Bagger Racing Team’s Harley-Davidson Road Glide is a powerful racing machine, equipped with Bitubo suspension, Accossato brakes, an S&S-equipped Harley-Davidson engine, and a BlackDuck exhaust system, delivering approximately 140 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. For a rider accustomed to lighter racing motorcycles, the difference is substantial.

“It’s a completely different motorcycle from the ones I’m used to riding. It has a huge amount of power, considerably more weight, and requires a different riding style, so you have to adapt quickly and understand how the bike behaves.”

However, rather than being intimidated by the challenge, Muñoz Granero sees it as an opportunity to develop his skills. “That’s exactly what motivates me the most: stepping out of my comfort zone, learning as much as possible, and finding a way to get the very best performance out of it.”

NO INTENTION OF JUST MAKING UP THE NUMBERS

Although Jerez will mark his first appearance in the BRL European Cup, Muñoz Granero makes it clear that his ambitions go well beyond simply gaining experience.

“The biggest challenge will be adapting as quickly as possible to such a different motorcycle and finding the pace needed to be competitive in a new category.” His approach is straightforward: use every session to improve and push as hard as possible. “I want to fight, stand out on track, and put on a great show for the fans and everyone following the competition. I’m not coming here just to enjoy the experience; I’m coming here to give it everything I’ve got.”

RACING AT HOME ON A LEGENDARY CIRCUIT

Competing at Jerez adds further significance to this new adventure. The legendary Andalusian circuit, famous for its technical layout and passionate motorcycle racing atmosphere, will provide the perfect stage for Muñoz Granero’s BRL debut. “My expectations are very high. Jerez is a legendary and highly technical circuit, so I’m approaching the weekend with huge excitement and a strong desire to be fast, adapt well to the bike, and be competitive.”

The opportunity to race in front of a Spanish crowd will make the occasion even more special.

“Above all, I want to enjoy this opportunity, learn from every session, and make the most of the trust that has been placed in me. But, as always, I’ll stay focused on my mindset: work hard, give everything on every lap, and leave nothing on the table.”

READY TO DISCOVER THE BRL PADDOCK

Beyond the competition itself, Muñoz Granero is also looking forward to discovering the unique environment of the Bagger Racing League European Cup.

“I’m really looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere in Jerez, both on track and throughout the paddock. I’m especially excited to compete in such a spectacular category, share this experience with top professionals, and learn from everything and everyone around me.”

With youth, determination, and an impressive racing background on his side, Ivan Muñoz Granero is ready to embrace the challenge of bagger racing.

His arrival with the Spanover Bagger Racing Team adds another interesting storyline to the BRL European Cup season finale, as the championship prepares for an exciting weekend of racing at Jerez.
